Priority areas for funding

Ealing Council invites applications from community groups, businesses and public agencies, to fund projects that fit one of the four programmes from the Southall Charter that are described below.

Southall together

Inclusive community programmes to boost civic pride and improve social behaviour.

Examples of projects that could receive funding include: Arts projects, multi-cultural events, training or educational projects, environmental projects, community safety projects.

Southall massive small

A range of highly visible, small ideas and physical changes structured as community led projects that collectively will make a big difference to people’s quality of life and wellbeing.

Examples of projects that could receive funding include: Front yard and green space improvements, tree plantings, tidying up public spaces.

Southall town 

A variety of projects to enhance the ‘Southall experience’ and improve the town centre for both locals and visitors while supporting branding strategies.

Examples of projects that could receive funding include: Marketing and visitor attraction initiatives and events that bring people into Southall.

Southall living

A programme that focuses on the wellbeing of the community by increasing choices and access to facilities which encourage healthier lifestyles and safer neighbourhoods.

Examples of projects that could receive funding include: projects to encourage healthy eating and healthy living; and tackle diabetes, homelessness and substance abuse.
